The PondXpert SpinClean 4500 Filter 11w UVC is a highly effective pressurised pond filter designed to keep smaller garden ponds clear, healthy, and easy to maintain. Suitable for ponds up to 4500 litres, this compact yet powerful filter is one of the most popular models in the SpinClean range thanks to its clever cleaning system, built in UVC, and excellent value for money.

Unlike traditional pond filters that require you to remove messy sponges by hand, the SpinClean 4500 uses an easy clean backflush mechanism. This allows you to clean the filter without opening it up or getting your hands dirty. When the cleaning indicator shows it is time to rinse the foams, simply turn the blue dial to clean, rotate the handle to agitate the foams, then switch the pump back on. Dirty water is flushed away through the dedicated waste outlet, leaving the filter refreshed and ready to continue working. Once the water runs clear, you turn the dial back to pond mode and you are done.

The integrated 11 watt UVC plays a vital role in maintaining clear water by clumping together microscopic algae so they can be captured by the filter foams. This helps prevent green water and improves overall water clarity throughout the season. The UVC bulb is supplied with the unit, so it is ready to install straight out of the box.

Inside the filter, a combination of coarse and fine graduated foams traps debris efficiently before it can break down and affect water quality. Thanks to the SpinClean design, this model does not require additional bio media balls, keeping the system simple while still delivering excellent mechanical filtration.
