A stunning cantilever pond jetty we built in 2022 in Deal, Kent.

In 2022, That Pond Guy embarked on an exciting project that significantly enhanced the aesthetics of a picturesque pond in Deal, Kent. The focal point of this endeavor was the construction of a unique cantilever jetty, showcasing innovative design and meticulous craftsmanship.

What sets this jetty apart is its cantilevered structure, supported at only one end, thereby preserving the pond’s natural beauty without intrusive supports. This design choice not only maintains the integrity of the pond but also imparts a visually striking “floating” effect to the jetty.

Spanning 8 meters in length and 4 meters in width, the jetty features a robust construction comprising use steel beams and timber. Additionally, decking, oak posts and rope railings were incorporated to blend seamlessly with the surrounding environment while adding a touch of rustic elegance.
